Big Mac vs. Big Carl
Friday, December 18th, 2009I am sure most of you have seen the commercials for Carl’s Jr’s new Big Carl. Their two main marketing ploys are the free gift card that comes with each meal and the huge size difference between the sandwiches (made even more apparent by the deep manly voice the Big Carl has compared to the humorous high pitched Big Mac tone). L & L Hawaiian Barbecue in Dimond Center
Wednesday, December 16th, 2009If you are like me, then you probably don’t go down to the Dimond Center food court expecting any great options for dining. So, as you may understand, I was pretty surprised when I spotted an L & L’s Hawaiian BBQ while doing some Christmas shopping. In my mind, L & L’s was a legend. I constantly hear tales of how fantastic their food is but unfortunately all of their restaurants had been located in places I rarely visited (like the lower 48). (more…)
